Carved from Centuries
Each PASTORALE begins as a single block of premium Burmese Padauk Burl—wood that has grown slowly for over a century, each year adding another layer to its intricate grain. We select every piece not only for structural integrity, but for figure: the swirls, knots, and color variations that make each box visually unique. The wood is then carved from a single block, preserving the integrity of the grain and ensuring a strength that lamination can never match.
This takes time. It cannot be rushed. A century of growth, followed by weeks of careful shaping—because some things are worth waiting for.
